Last updated: 01/092026 These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Isti app. By creating an account or using Isti you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. 1. ELIGIBILITY You must be at least 13 years old to use Isti. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms. 2. YOUR ACCOUNT - You may create an account using your email address, or by signing in with Google or Apple. - You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that takes place under it. - The information you give us must be accurate, and you should keep it up to date. - You may not share your account or allow anyone else to use it. - You may delete your account at any time from within the app, under Settings. 3. USING ISTI Isti lets you discover restaurants, save them, organise them into collections, check in to places you visit, and share activity with friends. The app is provided free of charge. If paid features are introduced in future, you will be told before any charge applies. 4. ACCEPTABLE USE You agree not to: - Break any law, or use Isti for any unlawful purpose. - Post content that is false, misleading, abusive, harassing, hateful, obscene, or that infringes anyone's rights. - Impersonate another person, or misrepresent your connection to any person or business. - Post check-ins or ratings that are dishonest, paid for, or intended to unfairly promote or damage a business. - Harass, stalk, threaten, or attempt to locate another user without their consent. - Collect or scrape data from the app, or try to access parts of the service you are not authorised to use. - Interfere with the app's operation, bypass its security, or introduce malicious code. - Use automated systems to access the app in a way that places unreasonable load on the service. Content that breaches these rules may be removed, and accounts may be suspended. 5. YOUR CONTENT You keep ownership of everything you create in Isti, including your check-ins, ratings, notes, photographs, biography and collections. By posting content you grant Isti a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute it for the purpose of operating and improving the app. This licence allows your content to be shown to other users in the ways the app is designed to work, and it ends when you delete the content or your account, except where it has already been shared with others. You confirm that you have the right to post the content you upload and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. 6. SHARING AND VISIBILITY - Depending on your settings, other users may see your profile, check-ins, saved places and activity. - You can limit this by making your profile private, or by enabling Ghost Mode in Settings. - If you create a share link for a list of places, anyone with that link can view it. Do not share links containing anything you want to keep private. 7. RESTAURANT INFORMATION AND THIRD-PARTY CONTENT Restaurant details, including names, addresses, opening hours, photographs and ratings, come from third-party sources and from other users. This information is not verified and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. When you import a link from another platform, that link and its publicly available page content are processed to identify the restaurant it refers to. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any link you import. Always confirm details directly with a venue before relying on them. 8. LOCATION FEATURES AND SAFETY Isti uses your device's location, including in the background when you allow it, to show nearby places and to alert you when you are close to somewhere you have saved. Our Privacy Policy explains this in detail. Location accuracy depends on your device, your settings and your surroundings, and may be inaccurate or unavailable at times. Proximity alerts are a convenience and should not be relied on where accuracy matters. Do not interact with the app while driving, cycling, or doing anything else that requires your attention, and always follow local road safety laws. Use your own judgement about your personal safety when travelling to any place you find in the app. 9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY Isti, including its software, design, branding and content, is protected by intellectual property law. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or create derivative works from it. 10. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION Access to Isti may be suspended or terminated if you breach these Terms, where required by law, or where it is reasonably necessary to protect other users or the service. You may stop using Isti at any time and delete your account from within the app. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination will remain in effect. 11. AVAILABILITY We work to keep Isti available and working, but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error free. Features may be changed, suspended or discontinued at any time, and the service may occasionally be taken offline for maintenance. 12. DISCLAIMERS Isti is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, no warranties of any kind are made, whether express or implied, including as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. No responsibility is accepted for the quality, safety, legality or accuracy of any restaurant, venue or third-party content featured in the app, or for your interactions with other users. 13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY To the fullest extent permitted by law, Isti will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. 14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS These Terms may be updated from time to time. When material changes are made, the date at the top will be updated and, where appropriate, you will be notified in the app. Continuing to use Isti after a change means you accept the updated Terms. 15.
